Like accidentally announcing that your wife is pregnant on Facebook?

I’ll never live that down. Damn “Reply to All”

Interesting. I was just about to blog about this myself. I had just logged into FB – and noticed that I had ‘sent notifications’ to a number of people that I had changed ‘hoods. Now the interesting thing is that I had added the ‘Neighbourhoods’ application waaay back when and as a laugh, put my location as Jane and Finch (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but deleted the application. I recently added the app back, and lo and behold, it ‘remembered’ that I lived at Jane and Finch, and when I changed locations, it sent notifications to a number of my friends without my immediate knowledge…

So how many applications know and keep your info?
